SSI Try Scuba Diving / Basic Diver

SSI Try Scuba Diving in Phuket and have a lifetime experience with Blue Label Diving! The SSI Try Scuba Diving program specialises for outdoor lovers.

For those who loves the sea but felt intimidated to do your scuba diving certification, then this course is for you!

In Try Scuba Diving Course, we teach you all the fundamentals about diving. It includes your dive equipment, underwater skills, and of course, everything about the splendid underwater world!

Where do we teach you?

In general, Blue Label conducts the SSI Try Scuba Diving at the in the pool or at the Racha islands. Blue Label uses a private pool with shallow and deep zone to conduct our pool Try Scuba sessions.

The deep zone is 5 meters deep so it is suitable to carry out actual scuba diving skills. On the other hand, with crystal clear visibility and patches of sandy bottom, Racha Island is suitable for beginner divers. There, you will share your very first moment underwater with our highly certified instructor, to a maximum depth of 12m.

To be precise, a Try Scuba Diving course consists of the relevant theory, skills, and 2 dives in the sea.

By the end of the day, you will receive a SSI Try Scuba Diving completion card as a memento of your courage and bravery. If you choose to enter in a Scuba Diving course straight after with Blue Label, your Try Scuba Diving experience is tantamount to the pool sessions of the Scuba Diver/Open Water Diver Courses.

Schedules SSI BASIC DIVER from the Boat – Day-trip to Racha Islands

We have over 10 year experience running a dive shop in Phuket. Our instructors are all tech divers and Dive Instructors. Some even technical diving instructors and Dive Medics.

We take diving serious but with a smile. We care about QUALITY! not quantity.

We teach in several languages such as: English, Spanish, Danish, Chinese, French, German and Dutch

As Blue Label do not like un-welcome surprises, we clearly list out what is included and what is not included in your course payment.

We teach at an instructor to student ratio of 1:1. Or with your family or group of friends of course. Our max is 2 students per instructor.

Included: Dive Insurance (via SSI), instructor fee, gasses, tank rental, pool fees, equipment rental fee, pickups, breakfast and lunch and the boat fees and Excluded are: personal items (towels, sunblock etc.)
