PADI DEEP SPECIALTY

The purpose of the PADI Deep Specialty Course is to familiarize divers with the skills, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving between the depths of 18 meters and 40 meters.

PADI Specialty courses give you an opportunity to pursue areas of interest in more detail, giving you a greater knowledge, confidence and more diving experience in your chosen field.

This specialty requires an Advanced Open Water or Adventure Diver certification, others can begin straight after your PADI Open Water course.

Participants will learn the correct use of Delayed Surface Marker Buoys, free water ascents and mandatory safety stops.


Student prerequisites PADI Deep Specialty Course:

PADI DEEP SPECIALTY
Minimum age: Be a minimum age of eighteen (18) or fifteen (15) with parental consent
Min certification/diver level: PADI Advanced  Diver  or equivalent
Min amount of dives: 15  logged Dives
Course Duration: 3 days including 4 dives
System: Single Open Circuit or Sidemount
Certification available through: PADI
Prerogatives: After certification as a deep diver, student’s can engage in deeper water diving to a maximum of 40msw*.
Combination of courses: Wreck and DPV or Rebreather
What Can I do next: Advancced Nitrox or any other specialty with PADI
