6th-8th Aug, diving in the flooded caves of the reservoir at Khao Sok for Cavern and Intro to Cave. Though it was rainy, the sights on the surface were jaw-dropping. Literally out of a postcard. Swam into caves so cavernous that there was no bottom or opposite wall in sight; squeezed through restrictions surrounded by mysterious stalagmites & stalactites; and gilded over eerie canopy of the flooded forest.
9th-17th Aug, back to the Song Hong & Hong Lek sinkholes. Did the traverse from Hong Lek; swam along at 60m while a new line was being laid; reached another new max depth; found new cavern/cave entrances while the big boys 7 girls were doing their 130m and ventured deep into these new unknowns.
A diving experience like nothing I’ve ever done before. Made even more awesome with wonderful companions!
