TDI ADVANCED TRIMIX DIVING

HYPOXIC TRIMIX 

This TDI ADVANCED TRIMIX COURSE available in Phuket and Bangkok in Thailand, provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gasses containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox and/or Oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 330fsw/100msw.

This diving course is perhaps one of the most informative and challenging and upon completion you are among some of the most elite divers. Your TDI Instructor will teach you:

  • Equipment management
  • Multiple stage cylinder labelling and placement
  • Complex decompression planning and contingency planning
  • Dive team awareness and communication
  • Gas monitoring and management
  • Use of travel gasses

The TDI Advanced Trimix Course manual is one of the most up to date manuals and includes all the latest of technology and practices being used.


Student Prerequisites TDI Advanced Trimix Diving Course:

Minimum age: 18 years
Min certification/diver level: Extended Range diver or Entry level Trimix or equivalent
Min amount of dives: 100 logged Open Water Dives
Course Duration: 4 days including a min of 4 dives of which 2 greater than 55 mtrs
System: Open Circuit twin set
Prerogatives: After completing the Hypoxic Trimix course, the successful candidate can engage in mixed gas diving using hypoxic oxygen contents and use multiple Nitrox gas switches (up to pure oxygen) to carry out the decompression schedule.
Certification available through: TDI, PADI TEC 90
Combination of courses: This course in combination with the TDI Cave diving courses. In combination with the advanced trimix course, so you can go deep inside the caves in Song Hong.
What Can I do next: Rebreather diving or Cave Diving
