This week in Tec … The festive period didn’t turn out to be a restful time in the tech room; we had a visitor from Switzerland, Tim, who came for a Tech refresher in Bunaken and stayed for a couple of days of 50M dives.
Also diving with us were Petri and Markus from Finland, they were hot off their deco procedures course and wanted to gain some experience diving twinsets on the walls at Bunaken. Whilst they were here we took them in the pool for a sidemount try dive; they were so impressed they probably became the first TDI certified divers of the year completing the Sidemount course on New Years Day. After a couple of days of carrying twinsets a sidemount course is an easy sell!
To top the week off we are giving our DMTs, Wim and Georgia, an introduction to Tech to give them a taste of the real thing.
