Cave Diving Course Thailand Course Schedule

We would like to give you some idea of how we run a cave diving courses in Thailand. Many divers come this way to do all 3 levels of the TDI cave courses curriculum. You can do the courses on either Sidemount, Twinset or Rebreather.

We have had many questions about the trips.

Where do we sleep?

Do we use a boat?

How do we get there?

What do I need to Bring?

Where do we eat?

ARRIVAL IN PHUKET

We have found that is is the most convenient for you and us if you can come down to Phuket a day before the trip. This way we can check your equipment if you brought any and if not we make sure you get all the right equipment from us.  We do the paperwork on this day as well as the final payment.

Please take notice of the following: If you are not a Sidemount diver or technical diver thus you have not dived a twinset before we would like to ask you to add 2 extra days. Either to do the Intro to Tec on a twinset or the Sidemount course.

If you are a little rusty on your Twinset skills or Sidemount diving skills we can also add an extra day and take you down the beach to refresh your skills.

There are a few resorts in the neighborhood of the dive center in Rawai. We can help you with your booking if you would like. Also on our website you can find info about these resort.

DIVING IN SONG HONG

On Day 1, early in the morning we meet at the dive shop at 7am to have a coffee, to load up the truck and drive off to the first location, Song Hong.

You will drive down to Song Hong, Song = 2 and Hong = room,  lake in Trang Province, 4.5 hours drive from Phuket. This is a fresh water lake which is used by the locals for drinking water. This lake used to be covered up, but many years back it collapsed and is now formed into a sink hole.

You will arrive at Burilamplai accommodation to check in, unpack and have lunch here. IN the afternoon you do 2-3 dives for the first level.

You will have your own little bungalow with a hot shower, aircon and king size bed with duvet. They provide shampoo and soap.

Each day will start with a good breakfast and end with a gorgeous Thai dinner that will satisfy your stomach like you would not believe.

The mornings are taken for theory and drylands drills and the afternoon after your lunch its time for diving.

These courses are very heavy on the brain and the body. You will sleep like a baby and you will have an experience you will never ever forget and you will cherish your whole life. After this course the “real” diving starts.

You will push yourself way beyond your comfort zone, you will see things not many people have and you will become a very well-trained cave diver.

BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER are all done locally and arranged by your instructor. Some snack and water are bought at the local 7/11’s

DIVING KRABI – SRA KEOW , SPIDER, KLANG CAVE

For the Full Cave diving levels, either on Twinset, Sidemount or CCR you drive to the next location in Krabi to a cave system called Sra Keow.

You will stay at the Boutique Village hostel, same owners as Burilamplai.

You will have your own little bungalow with a hot shower, aircon and king size bed with duvet. They provide shampoo and soap.

This is normally on day 4 or 5. Again the same style schedule. In the morning you have breakfast at 8;30, then theory and dry land drills , lunch and diving int he afternoon.

IN the last days you will also dive Spider cave and if possible Kang cave as these are located close to Krabi and can be done on the day back to Phuket.

You last dive will be around 2pm , which means you are back in Phuket around dinner time.

BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER are all done locally and arranged by your instructor. Some snack and water are bought at the local 7/11’s
