NEW ADVENTURES BEYOND THE LIMITS, BLD Tec programs are designed to take your diving to the next level. Whether you are looking for the excitement of deep diving, going beyond recreational diving limits, significantly extending your bottom time or enjoying the thrill of exploring deep reefs, BLD Tec 1 provides the training and experience necessary to complete your new adventure with confidence and skill.
Technical diving will open up a diverse variety of aquatic environments, increase your dive depths limits, extend your bottom times and train you on new procedures. Academically you will advance your knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures and theories specific to diving safely with a decompression ceiling. You will adapt your existing equipment or be introduced to new equipment concepts and the technically oriented dive rig. You will also learn and master new skills designed to enhance your safety and enjoyment using this new equipment design. During your program your instructor will cover everything from supreme buoyancy, propulsion, equipment management and effective decompression.
Throughout the program you will increase the knowledge, skills, equipment and experience to “extend your range of diving” in every sense of the word. Whatever your current level of training, Technical Diving will challenge and thrill you mentally and physically.
TRAINING IS FLEXIBLE AND EASY, all courses and training materials have been developed by industry professionals with decades of extended range and technical diving experience.
As with all Blue Label Diving programs BLD Tec 1 is designed to fit your schedule. You can take each program individually or take them all in one program. Training is flexible to match your goals and objectives. It’s menu-based just like our recreational programs.
The Tec Diver course is an integrated sequence of three sub courses: Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50. You can complete them continuously, or you can complete each level separately with a time span between them. This gives you learning efficiency, instructional integrity and schedule flexibility. After the 3 levels you can go to TRIMIX diving with Tec 65 and after this the Tec Deep Trimix to 90 meters. Besides these Tec level PADI also offer SIDEMOUNT courses. The PADI Sidemount course can be taught/ done by Recreational divers with either 1 or 2 cylinders. The Tec Sidemount course is run with 4 cylinders and is the next level up for Sidemount or Tec divers. The Tec 40,45 and 50 levels can be done on SIDEMOUNT or Back mount.

TDI Technical Diving Courses
TDI and it’s professionals at our Technical Diving Center in Phuket and Bangkok in Thailand are held to the highest standard to make sure quality and exclusive training throughout the world. This means that as a diver taking a TDI course, your instructor will have documented his experience and knowledge prior to achieving that rating.
As an instructor candidate taking a TDI course, your TDI instructor trainer will have gone through the paces to achieve the highest level of training that TDI offers. Please note that Blue Label Diving has a special and unique feature for the Technical Diving courses; Our Dive Instructors are not just located in one specific area but can come to you if you don’t have the time to travel.
TDI is the largest technical certification agency in the world. As one of the first agencies to provide training in mixed gas diving and rebreathers, TDI is an innovator of new diving techniques and programs which previously were not available to the public. Training with TDI has provided divers with the opportunity to see such wrecks as the Andrea Doria, Lusitania and the Prince of Wales. TDI divers have explored underwater caves in Spain, Australia and Mexico and assisted as support divers on world record free dives done in the Red Sea.
SSI XR PROGRAMS
SSI´s Extended Range programs form a bridge between Recreational Diving and Technical Diving. They are designed to allow you, the recreational diver, the chance to enter the exciting world of Extended Range diving without necessarily having to dramatically change your existing diving philosophy. These programs simply enhance and build upon your existing knowledge. They provide the components that will allow you to use the different gases, new equipment and skills necessary to complete limited decompression schedules.
As with all SSI programs Extended Range is designed to fit your schedule. You can take each program individually or take them all in one program. Training is flexible to match your goals and objectives. It’s menu-based just like our recreational programs.
PADI TecRec Program
The TecRec program debuted in 2000. Although PADI TecRec is not the first tec diving program (cave diver training has been around for decades), it repeatedly receives accolades for its merits.
Each level introduces you to new gear, planning and procedures, right to extend your diving limits.

To enroll in BLD Tec 1 training you need to be an Advanced Open Water Diver with both the Deep Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox specialties and a minimum of 25 logged dives.
