On 10 December 2014, Paul D. from Canada started fun and intense technical diving courses: the TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures. Over the course of 5 days, he learned the foundation that makes a good technical diver: trim, buoyancy control as well as planning and excuting technical dives down to 45m and using oxygen-rich gasses to optimize his decompression.
The first day of the course was spent learning how to plan the dives with minimum risks and practice in skills in our awesome 5m deep pool. The remaining 4 days were spent diving the amazing dive sites around Phuket like Racha Yai and Racha Noi islands.There, in clear and warm waters, he put to good use what he learnt and gradually increased his depth and time to reach finally half an hour at 45m!
After 5 days of intense fun, Paul finally became certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures Diver, able to breath multiple gasses during dives as deep as 45m, paving the way for many exciting technical dives!
