MASTER CLASS TO 150 METERS in Thailand

Deep divers Song Hong
Team of Deep divers in Song Hong. 130 meters in August 2013

Lets say 20-30 people world-wide have done a MASTER CLASS 150 meters > deep dive to these depths….and even a few have died, still we continue to want to do these deep dives and go deeper than 99% of all divers…….why is this?

It’s because Exploration is written in our DNA and some of us just have this Thrill Seeking Gene!

Exploration is the act of searching for discovery of information or resources. Exploration occurs in all non-sessile animal species, including humans. In human history, its most dramatic rise is arguably seen during the Age of Discovery when European explorers sailed and charted much of the rest of the world, largely in a pursuit of material wealth. Since then, major explorations after the Age of Discovery have occurred for reasons more for information discovery.

Thrill-seekers as a group are more crime-prone than their risk-avoiding peers . Two new research studies show that people who seek excitement — whether legal or illegal — are influenced, at least in part, by their genetic makeup.

Yes it is to push our abilities and boundaries! To go further than we expected of ourselves. To be in place not many people have been before, to feel the adrenaline rushing through our veins. It releases endorphins, to get those euphoric feelings, and to feel like we have superhuman strength. It enables people to overcome fear.

We are proud to announce that Your Master Class Instructor is Ben Reymenants. He is one of the few Technical Diving Instructor Trainers with the experience and knowhow to be able to take  you, 1 diver safely down to 150 meters. Ben is a FULL TIME TDI, PADI TecRec, IART and SSI TXR technical Diving Instructor Trainer. This means that he dives a minimum 5 days per week, 3 dives per day..on CCR, Trimix, Sidemount in caves, wreck or on the reefs all around the world.  Ben dives at least 4 times per year, on his own, to the depths between 150 – and 180 meters and has taken several below 100 meters.

“I trained with Ben for close two weeks, I travelled from Australia to Thailand, on chance meeting with Ben when I was completing cavern and intro cave with another instructor. On hearing Ben’s reputation when even back in Australia I decided to contact Simone to organise a full cave course and advance trimix with a 100 metre cave dive (Just for fun).

The organisation by Simone was flawless and well thought out, even though it was a customised, combination of courses. Accommodation, equipment, food and local knowledge were fantastic.

The first notable point is that Ben is full-time instructor, this makes a massive difference. He lives, breathes and sleeps tech diving. The theory ran over time as we both explored facts and theories, just because we wanted to.

Completing the training is only the starting point to becoming an experienced Technical diver, but I am confident that the training, skills, and more importantly the knowledge of the person instructor that is outside any course requirements and not found in any books., after some 12 instructors, Ben’s knowledge can’t be beaten.

After the first couple of Dives I could see Ben zero in on the skills that needed to worked on, not only that the dive structure was changed to compliment this. A dive course that changes to suit you …..who would have thought!!!!!

Both the cave and advance trimix course was not easy, it is steep learning curve, Ben instruction was intense while still being incredibly fun.

The preparation for 100m dive in a cave was so well thought out and executed with the highest professionalism. The extra confidence of attempting that dive by having Ben a couple of metres away looking over you is exactly what was needed.

I will be taking more classes from Ben in the future. I urge any diver that wants world-class technical training or simply wants to be a better diver contact Simone. He can put together a class or clinic that works for YOU and the focus will be on YOU. You just can’t get a better deal than that.”

“This MASTER CLASS is not a course but it’s designed to outline guidelines for safe Trimix diving to depth between 120 and 150 meters.

Master Class Diver Course consist of nine training dives, two knowledge development sections and two practical applications. This is a one time dive only and not a certification.

This is not for the light-hearted as this MASTER CLASS is held on one of the deepest Caves in Thailand. Being a TRIMIX 100 and FULL Cave diver is Mandatory!”
